Studio License

A studio license is now available for the Events series and I Love Coffee, I Love Tea digital downloads.

What is a studio license? If you are a studio or piano teacher, and you want to share your downloaded piano books with your students, you can select the "studio license" option in the Book Format dropdown when adding a digital download to your cart. The strict legal definition states: You are permitted to use the purchased digital music with any number of your own students as an individual teacher; this license may not be shared with any other teachers in the same studio or different studios.

Not all books have a downloadable or studio license option. Please contact us if you would like this option for a specific book.

What is the benefit of a studio license? Purchasing a studio license will save you a lot of time and money, as you will be able to use the same music within your studio for an unlimited number of times. Should you purchase a single license, a new copy will need to be purchased for each student as it cannot be shared with others.

What is included? For the studio license, your digital download will include the words "STUDIO LICENSE" at the bottom of the music, indicating that you are authorized to use this same music within your studio for an unlimited number of times. Along with the I Love Coffee, I Love Tea and Events studio licenses, we have included additional free bonuses for you and your students. Each Events book has a different resource; if you purchase the studio license of the complete Events set, you will receive all bonuses. These include useful technique worksheets, practicing tips and repertoire suggestions.

What is a single license? With a single license, only the buyer is authorized to use the music. The piece cannot be shared or distributed. When the music is downloaded, there will be a footnote on each page with the buyer's name.

Are hard copy books included in the studio license option? No, unfortunately printed books are not included in the studio license option. Hard copy books are single license and each student must have their own book.

How does the download work? After your purchase, you will receive an email from ShaakPianoMusic@gmail.com. This will include a link to your specific digital resource. Click on the link to download the music.
