Shaak Piano Students Perform at “Celebrate the Music of Melody Bober” (WFMC)
Shaak Piano Music is thrilled to be part of this student piano recital with performances by students of Jamie Shaak of Denver South Senior Club. WFMC students from the Rocky Mountain area – including Colorado Spring Senior Club, USA! Senior Club, Fort Collins Senior Club, CSMTA, and Denver South Senior Club – all performed music written by Melody Bober at this student recital performance in Colorado Springs. Approximately 85 students had this amazing opportunity to play a piece, whether piano solo, duet, trio or quartet, written by Melody Bober and get comments from her in person!!
In this performance, the Wyoming Federation of Music Clubs premiers a specially commissioned piece by Melody Bober titled “Mountain Majesty”. This intermediate/advanced piece, composed specially for the Wyoming Federation of Music Clubs is described as “This grand piano solo was commissioned by the Wyoming Federation of Music Clubs. It is descriptive not only of the Rocky Mountains but also a tribute to majestic mountains everywhere.” Learn more on the WFMC website.
